CHOOSE TO REUSE

.

Bags are tested to the same strict specifications used for new Super Sack® containers.   Testing

One sample bag from each lot returned and one of every 200 bags thereafter are selected for a complete top-lift safety test. Tests are performed with state-of-the-art equipment and are in accordance with the 49CFR, United Nations IMDG Code, British Standard and ISO performance standards.

Top-lift (5:1 Safety Ratio Test*) test provides all parties with important data to insure established bag performance under reuse.  This test is an invaluable tool to help us ensure the continued safety of our customers and their personnel.
* The 5:1 safety ratio tests the bulk bag's rated capacity. If a bulk bag is rated to 2,000 pounds maximum capacity with a 5:1 safety ratio, then it should withstand the safety test to 10,000 pounds.
Retired bags will never go in the landfill.

Proper Discarding of Retired Bags

All rejected and retired bags are shredded. The polypropylene is reprocessed in our own extrusion facility.
